This mushroom set can be served with any red meat and it will still be tasty. I do recommend using a home made beef stock for the sauce.
Mushroom puree
250g/ 8oz crimini mushrooms
250g/ 8oz white button mushrooms
236 ml/ 1 cup heavy cream
2 cloves garlic
2 sprigs thyme
approximately 2g/ 1 tsp porcini mushroom powder
42g/ 3 tbsp butter
